Melbourne is full of cosy well designed cafes that make you want to take a seat and over coffee take it all in, interesting architecture and beautiful street-scapes.For me there is so much inspiration for my home and so now have decided to make a regular Friday post of what I have loved when out and about during the week.
Earlier this week I took the kids to Melbourne Zoo and along the Elephant trail there are these gorgeous stools, love the look and colour, plus glazed pots and the pendant light pictured below.
And in case you are wondering I haven't been able to keep up the photo a day challenge or post much recently as have had shoulder and back problems which is aggravated by sitting at a computer, so have had to save my computer time for work only.Hope you all have had a great week.

Yes I know what you mean. I often see something that I want to take a photo of but of course who walks around with their camera unless they're a tourist! But now I have a fancy new phone with camera I've been snapping away a bit more often, now its just figuring out how to get them off the phone and onto the computer!
ReplyDeleteI often think how lucky we are in Melbourne to have such a high emphasis placed on beautiful design. Well, it's the main reason I wanted to move here!
ReplyDeleteBut you are right, there are wonderful details to look at in cafes and restaurants, which makes all the difference. And the zoos are full of fab details. I remember at the Safari Night at Werribee last year, they had made lights from puncturing holes in old tin cans, then strung them up between the trees with simple globes inside. So simple, yet so stunning! This pendant light is gorgeous.
